Cascais Photoshoot

Some proposals are planned in whispers. This one was.

Praia do Guincho, in Cascais, has a light at the end of the day that is hard to describe. The sun drops low over the Atlantic, the wind softens, and the whole beach turns gold.

He had planned everything in secret with me to do a Cascais photoshoot. We agreed on the timing, the signal and the spot among the dunes. And she had no idea. When the moment came, with the ocean behind them and the cliffs of Cascais catching the last light, he asked. 

And she said yes.

After that, the evening belonged to them. We walked along the shoreline, the sky shifting from gold to soft pink, and made relaxed, joyful portraits of the two of them just being together.

Guincho is one of the places I suggest to couples who want a proposal in Cascais that feels wild and cinematic. It has wide beaches, dramatic Atlantic light, and that rare sense of having the coast almost to yourselves. 

He chose it well.
